This introductory session is designed especially for new delegates to help you feel fully prepared for the days ahead. You'll get a clear overview of how the Conference works, what to expect, and how you can actively participate. It’s also a great opportunity to connect with other first-time delegates and start building your network within the European Scout community.
In this session, we will formally open the European Scout Conference, set the quorum through a roll call, and appoint its officials (Co-Chairs, Resolutions Committee, and Tellers).
We will review the Code of Conduct and the Safe from Harm procedures. This session will conclude with a dialogue between the Chairperson of the World Scout Committee and the Secretary General.
WAGGGS Delegations
Take this moment to network, relax, and recharge before diving back into the enriching programme.
The keynote speaker will address the Conference, followed by the reports of the Regional Director and Treasurer and the presentation of the report from the Regional Scout Plan 2022-2025.
This session will feature an interactive Q&A discussion with key stakeholders, reflecting on the Regional Scout Plan. Delegates will have the opportunity to ask questions live via a digital platform, with their queries displayed on the screen and addressed by the panel in real-time.
We hope to hear from some of the key stakeholders who contributed and helped bring our plan to full fruition, such as a partner, the European Scout Committee, and a team lead from the Operational Framework.
Recharge with a delicious meal, connect with peers, and prepare for the sessions ahead.
Following this interactive session, delegations will have the chance to explore the work of the last Triennium in a series of interactive breakout rooms.
