Decision-making
Composed of experienced and culturally diverse members, the Resolutions Committee will be available to support Member Organizations in developing and submitting proposals to the Conference. During the Conference, the Resolutions Committee is responsible for consolidating all Draft Resolutions, Amendments, and Draft Emergency Resolutions received and presenting them in a report to the Conference.

Important timeline
- 31 March 2025 at 23:59 CEST – deadline to submit nomination(s)
- April 2025 – The European Scout Committee announces the provisional appointment of four (4) to six (6) individuals to serve as members of the Resolutions Committee of the 25th European Scout Conference.
- April to July 2025 – The Resolutions Committee is available to support Member Organizations in the process of developing and submitting proposals for consideration by the Conference.
- 18 June 2025 (from 19:30 to 20:30 CEST) – online pre-engagement session dedicated draft proposals submitted for consideration by the Conference.
- 19 July 2025 – The Conference will formally vote to endorse the provisional appointment of the members of the Resolutions Committee during its opening session.
- 19 to 23 July 2025 – The Resolutions Committee is available to support delegations of Member Organizations, the European Scout Committee, and the Conference Co-Chairs. It will submit its Report on received Draft Resolutions and Amendments for consideration by the Conference.
Nomination submission process
Step 1 – Review the role description to identify suitable candidates.
Step 2 – Ensure the candidate will be part of the Member Organization’s delegation (delegate or observer) to the Conference.
Step 3 – Complete the nomination form to provide an endorsement by the Member Organization.
Step 4 – Ensure and confirm on the nomination form that the candidate was subject to a Safe from Harm Check by their Member Organization.
Step 5—When the nomination form is submitted, include the candidate’s curriculum vitae, clearly showing the required skills and experience.
